Donald Trump Shares ‘Great Friend’ PM Modi’s Podcast with Lex Fridman on Truth Social- wna24

Washington DC: US President Donald Trump , who is known to have great personal relations with Prime Minister Narendra Modi , has shared the latter’s three-hour-long podcast with Lex Fridman, on his social media platform Truth Social.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, who has always considered PM Modi as a ‘great friend’, has now, in a significant step showcasing their friendship, shared the Indian Prime Minister’s three-hour-long podcast with Lex Fridman, a US-based podcaster and AI researcher. 

Trump did not write anything, but shared the link of PM Modi’s podcast with Lex Fridman on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’ at 11:20 am on Monday (IST). The post has been reshared by over 343 people and has received more than 11,000 likes.

PM Modi’s podcast shared by Trump also had a mention of the US President. PM Modi, in conversation with Lex Fridman, has lauded Trump for his strong dedication towards his country, especially after assassination attempts were made on him. He said, “When he was shot during the recent campaign, I saw the same resilient and determined President Trump, the one who walked hand-in-hand with me in that stadium. Even after being shot, he remained unwaveringly dedicated to America. His life was for his nation.”

Comparing Trump’s ‘America First’ ideology to his own ‘India First’ approach, PM Modi said during the podcast, “His reflection showed his America First spirit, just as I believe in Nation First. I stand for India first and that’s why we connect so well. These are the things that truly resonate. And I believe that across the world politicians are covered so much by the media that people mostly perceive each other through its lens. People rarely get the chance to truly meet or personally know one another and perhaps third-party intervention is the real cause of tensions.” 

Amid other things, PM Modi highlighted the similarities he has with Trump, personally, professionally and in terms of the love and adulation they get from the people of their respective countries; PM Modi also appreciated Trump for his preparedness to lead the country. 

In his second podcast appearance after one with Zerodha CEO Nikhil Kamath, PM Modi looked back at his journey, his election victories, the essence and learnings of the RSS, India’s global role and its position in terms of leadership and governance, the soul of a democracy and the importance of constructive feedback for a strong democracy.
