Cyber Fraud Nexus Exposed: 540 Indians Rescued from Human Trafficking Ring in Southeast Asia – wna24
Telangana: A sinister tale of cyber frauds occurring in Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia and how it is victimising lakhs of Indians across length and breadth of the country.
It was a major success for the Union Ministry of Home Affairs where in the last few days it was able to bring back close to 540 indians that were victimized By human traffickers sent to south East Asian countries like Laos ,Cambodia, Myanmar, tortured and forced to undertake cyber frauds and from thereon financially dupe lakhs of citizens in India and abroad.
The massive scale of this human trafficking can be gauged from the fact that these 540 citizens belong to each and every length and breadth of the country ranging from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to Vadodara to Bagodhara.
It was months of strenuous exercise that was undertaken by the officials of Ministry of Home affairs that have taken it upon themselves to tackle the cases of cyber frauds that are emanating from Southeastern Asian countries and also bring back the Indians that have been victimized by it.
Republic Digital was able to access some documents and vital contents from the sources of MHA and from the complaints that have been given to MHA by the families of the victims.It highlights that how there is a sinister nexus of human trafficking is in play.
In one such case a Human Trafficker that was residing in Gujarat was successfully able to track and recognize a computer operator in Telangana
As per Kokkirala lakshmaReddy resident of H.NO. 3-61/1, Rangapet village, Mdl: Manakondur, Dist: Karimngar his son Kokkirala Madhukar Reddy age 35 (passport number: 2797578, Aadhar no 9698 2615 9810)) had gone to Thailand on Dec 18th, 2024 for computer operator job with Rs.70k salary in Hongsheng company, Bangkok. Soon after he reached to Bangkok.
He shifted to Myewaddy Distict of Myanmar illeagally by road and from thereon forcedmy to do cyber frauds of NRIs who settled U.S.A. by providing their personal data. The hostages were kept in a park named KK2 Park building at Myewaddy disrtrict of Myanmar with private armed security who started manhandling, giving current shocks, threating to kill for not cooperating them.
In a shocking admission, the father in his letter to MHA had highlighted that how How was he was recruited in a company in bangkok by two agents that eventually turned out to be human traffickers
These two were identified as Hithesh Arjana Somaya (cell no: +91 8496984836) Porbandar, Gujarat. SHYAMRAO RAJASHEKAR alias ROMAN (cell no: +918897985493, +66992311576), S/o Shyamrao Srihari, vill and mandal Dharmapuri, Jagithyal Dist, Telangana. They lured Madhukar by offering Rs.70K to Rs.120K salary by sending links through Telegram app. and conducted computer typing test and interview through Zoom app. They then replied that Madhukar cleared the interview and send a Flight Ticket Hyderabad to Bangkok. Journey dated on Dec 18th, 2024.
Little did Madhukar and like him hundreds of young Indians duped by unscrupulous agents cum human traffickers realized that Hithesh Arjna Somaya and Shyam Rao Rajshekhar both have been doing human trafficking since years so far they sent hundreds of indian boys and girls to Chinese fraud cyber centres located in Combida, Myanmar, Laos countries which neighbouring Thailand. They have critical network all over the India. They charges each indian upto Rs.3 lakhs for providing job and selling them to Chinese companies for 3000 to 4000 USD per head, depending on the market demand. In the october 2024 A case had booked against Shyam Rao Rajshekhar regarding Human trafficking. He sent four innocent youth from Jagithyal to a Chinese company located at Laos. but however they cleverly escaped. Soon after they reached india they complainted to TELANGANA CYBER SECURITY wing they filed a case against Rajashekar alias ROMAN. Telangana police had issued a look out notice against to Rajashekar to arrest him in all Indian Airports.
The case of Madhukar Reddy is just one such example where human traffickers have found the way of dropping hundreds of innocent Indians and thereby making them commit cyber frauds in Southeast Asian countries.It is important to note that the National Investigating Agency have also been of human trafficking involved where citizens are been sent from country to south east Asian countries and forced to undertake Cyber fraud case.
