Elon Musk, who is an ally of US President Donald Trump, has thanked the President for his support. Sharing a screenshot of his Truth Social post on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), Musk has said, “Thank you, President Donald Trump!”

Backing Elon Musk against the ‘radical Left lunatics’, US President Donald Trump said in a post on his social media platform Truth Social, “To Republicans, Conservatives, and all great Americans, Elon Musk is “putting it on the line” in order to help our Nation, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the World’s great automakers, and Elon’s “baby,” in order to attack and do harm to Elon, and everything he stands for.”

In his social media post, Trump has also said that as a mark of confidence and support for Elon Musk, he will be buying a Tesla tomorrow. The Truth Social post further said, “They tried to do it to me at the 2024 Presidential Ballot Box, but how did that work out? In any event, I’m going to buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American. Why should he be punished for putting his tremendous skills to work in order to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN???”

Several protests are being organised both in and outside the United States, against Elon Musk’s Tesla. ‘Takedown Tesla’ protests are gaining momentum in the US as people are voicing their dissatisfaction against Musk’s ultimatum as DOGE Head, to federal workers in the country, to disclose their achievements in a mail or they might get fired. Protestors are attacking Tesla showrooms and some Cybertrucks have also been set alight.

Numerous people are also holding ‘Boycott Tesla’ protests in Europe, after Musk expressed his support for the far-right parties in Europe, ahead of a possible snap election in Portugal. Musk has utilized his X platform to support right-wing parties and figures in countries such as Germany, Britain, Italy, and Romania. However, he has refrained from involving himself in politics in Portugal, where the far-right Chega party has risen to become the third-largest political force in parliament.
