‘Football-Sized Object Under My Wing’: US Air Force Pilot Reports Encounter With UFO- wna24

Washington: A US Air Force pilot reported a “football-sized,” cylindrical unidentified flying object (UFO) while he was on a mission flight over 20,000 feet in the air. 

According to an audio clip of the conversation that has surfaced, the pilot identified by the codename ‘Troy 21’ reported the air traffic control for having a close encounter with a UFO. 

“This is going to sound weird, but I just had something pass underneath my wing, maybe like a football-sized object,” the pilot told ATC. 

When asked to confirm whether it was a drone, the pilot replied, “I have no idea… We will see if we can find it, but it was like a dark grey cylindrical object, and it was probably the size of a football, and maybe it passed 10 feet under my wing.” 

Meanwhile, pilots on a Boeing 747 Nigeria-bound flight captured footage of UFOs in August 2024. 

Captain Ruud Van Pangemanan said that the phenomenon occurred in the morning at around 5 am. 

“It was an extremely vivid, star-like object that appeared to be dancing in the sky. The ‘UFO’ exhibited rapid and unpredictable altitude changes, plunging quickly before abruptly returning to its original height,” the pilot was quoted as saying by a US English daily. 

In November 2024, the Pentagon received reports of hundreds of UFOs being sighted. 

A total of 1,652 UFO sightings were recorded in the annual report, of which 757 new reports were registered between May 2023 and June 2024.
