Washington: The White House witnessed an unprecedented blow up between US President and his Ukrainian counterpart on Friday after Zelenskyy triggered Donald Trump for not agreeing for a ceasefire to end the war with Russia. As Trump, JD Vance and Zelenskyy sat together at the Oval Office, no one had predicted that the conversation between the three would take such an ugly turn, but it happened, and it happened live on television.

Zelenskyy was in Washington for a very crucial meet as he was expected to sign a deal on Ukraine’s rare earth minerals and indulge in ground breaking discussions with his US counterpart on Russia-Ukraine war.

Zelenskyy arrived at White House as scheduled and was received by President Trump. The two exchange pleasantries and followed the protocol like it would have happened. Trump even joked or rather passed a witty remark on his Ukrainian counterpart saying “He’s all dressed up today.”

Trump and Zelenskyy then departed for the Oval Office where they were joined by Vice President JD Vance.

The conversation between the three on Russia-Ukraine began normally and with all the protocols. They all exchanged compliments but within a few minutes into the meeting, things turned fiery and ended up in a big blow up as the entire world was watching, something that has never happened before.

What began as a normal conversation turned into a burning argument after Zelenskyy questioned what kind of diplomacy you (United States) was talking about when in 2019, Putin broke the ceasefire, killed his people and refused to exchange prisoners of war.

JD Vance then told Zelenskyy that he was talking about the diplomacy that is going to end the destruction of his country because he was losing the war and should be thanking the President rather coming to the Oval Office and attacking the government that is trying to help him.

As Zelenskyy told JD Vance for raising the voice, this triggered Trump who then intervened in the conversation and busted his Ukrainian counterpart like never before.

Trump made it absolutely clear to Zelenskyy that he was losing the war, not winning, his soldiers are dying, he’s on a back-foot and not in a position to dictate. Trump accused Zelenskyy that he was gambling with World War 3 and lives of millions of people as the latter was not agreeing for a ceasefire.
