Virginia: A video of Sudiksha Konanki, the Indian-origin student at the University of Pittsburgh, before she mysteriously disappeared six days ago, has surfaced on the internet. In her last video, the missing 20-year-old girl can be seen walking in a group, with her friends.

The final moments of Sudiksha Konanki before she disappeared have been captured in the CCTV camera and the video has surfaced on the internet. Sudiksha Konanki can be seen walking with her group of friends; this video is not from the time she was at the beach because her outfit is different. Sudiksha Konanki can be seen wearing a white t-shirt and a pair of white shorts, her hair is tied in a ponytail and she is walking with a boy, whose arms are encircling her neck. 

Apart from the brown bikini appearance, that is also a part of Konanki’s missing poster, this is the only visual of the missing Indian-origin student from before her disappearance at the Dominican Republic.

An Indian-origin student of the University of Pittsburgh, Sudiksha Konanki had gone on a spring-break trip with her friends, to the Dominican Republic, which took a tragic turn after she mysteriously disappeared one morning. The 20-year-old was last seen walking by the beach in a brown bikini six days ago, and has been missing ever since. Rigorous search operations are underway but she has remained untraceable.

According to the police, Sudiksha Konanki may have drowned after jumping into the ocean. However, her family has rejected the accidental drowning theory put forward by the authorities and believes there may have been foul play involved. In an exclusive interview with a US-based media outlet, Sudiksha Konanki’s father stated that while local authorities are treating her disappearance as an accidental drowning, he has filed a complaint urging for a more intensive search effort and has raised concerns about potential foul play. He acknowledged the possibility of his daughter drowning but expressed increasing suspicion that a crime may have occurred, particularly pointing to the possibility of kidnapping.

Joshua Steven Ribe, a 24-year-old tourist from Iowa, was the last person to see the Indian-origin student alive. According to the local reports, he has given three versions to the police, of what transpired on the fateful day. He first said that after an all-night party, they were in the sea and he went back to the shore after vomiting due to the rough surf and asked if Konanki was alright. As per his second account, he left the water after he felt sick and left Sudiksha in knee-deep water in the surf before passing out; he woke up and found her missing. Lastly, Ribe said that he saw Konanki walking on the beach before he fell asleep, but she was nowhere to be seen when he woke up.
