London: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Saturday reiterated support to Volodymyr Zelenskyy saying they are standing with Ukraine for as long as it may take, as he received Ukrainian President at 10 Downing Street in London. Zelenskyy travelled straight to London after cutting short his Washington visit after he was hammered down by President Trump in full public spat at the Oval Office, in front of press inside White House. Schooling Zelenskyy, Donald Trump didn’t mind his words and let the pure emotions coming out when he publicly stormed his counterpart, something that has never been witnessed before, and got equal covering from Vice President JD Vance.

As the three leaders, Trump-Zelenskyy-Vance, sat at the Oval Office to discuss the Ukraine war, Trump appeared irritated by Ukrainian President’s attitude who was trying to play his cards with the United States to bargain more. What began as normal discussion between the three leaders ended up in a full public blow up as Trump lambasted Zelenskyy for gambling with World War 3, lives of millions of people. Trump, very brutally told his counterpart on face and the world witnessed it that he was losing the war, was in no position to win it, he couldn’t dictate terms, and must get ready for a ceasefire, be thankful to United States as without their support, Russia would have run over Ukraine in just two weeks.

Zelenskyy was stormed out of White House soon after talks took ugly turn, cutting down his visit short. He left Washington without holding a joint presser with Trump, lunch and signing a key deal on Ukraine’s rare earth minerals.

British PM Keir Starmer, who supported Zelenskyy on Friday also after White House blow up, on Saturday welcomed Ukrainian President in London saying they are standing with Ukraine and assured unwavering determination to achieve a lasting peace.

Zelenskyy thanked Starmer for his support and also King Charles III for accepting an invite for meeting on Sunday.

Starmer further insisted that UK will continue to support Ukraine especially after Friday’s wild row between Zelenskyy-Trump at White House.

A spokesperson of 10 Downing Street said that the Prime Minister was doing all he can to find a path forward to a lasting peace based on sovereignty and security for Ukraine.

On Sunday, Keir Starmer will host European leaders and discuss way forward to end to Russia-Ukraine war and Union’s defence concerns.
