Washington: The General Services Administration, in collaboration with Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, has informed landlords that federal agencies will be terminating hundreds of office and building leases in the coming months. A GSA planning document dated March 10 outlines the expected cancellation dates for many of these leases.

While these dates indicate when cancellations are set to take effect, it doesn’t necessarily mean all locations will close by then. Agencies will have to either negotiate new leases or relocate if they choose to remain open, with many still determining their next steps.
