According to the reports, fire erupted after a bird strike the plane’s right engine. The incident reportedly took place at 8.07am local time.
Air traffic was put on halt at the airport, but later resumed the operations, according to officials.
Several videos have circulated on social media after the FedEx plane caught fire and was later made to land in emergency.
