Balochistan Liberation Army opened fire on an express train in Pakistan’s Balochistan province on Tuesday. The attack on the Jaffer Express passenger train took place near Ab-e-Gum area of Mach Town in Balochistan’s Kachhi district, where around six armed men opened fire on the train. Several passengers have been wounded in the attack. Rescue teams and security forces have reached the scene, and an operation is underway to track down the assailants.
The Jaffar Express, carrying approximately 400 passengers in nine bogies, was traveling from Quetta in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province to Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa when it came under gunfire from Balochistan Liberation Army. Several Pak army soldiers have been taken into custody
