Washington: Ukrainian President arrived at the White House to meet with Donald Trump on Friday, where US President shouted at Volodymyr Zelenskyy , saying, “You’re gambling with World War 3”

During an intense meeting in the Oval Office, Trump yelled at Ukraine’s leader, Zelenskyy, accusing him of “gambling with millions of lives” and warning that his actions could lead to World War 3.

The final 10 minutes of the nearly 45-minute discussion became a tense exchange between Trump, and Zelenskyy.

Trump said, “You’re gambling with World War 3, and what you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country that’s backed you far more than a lot of people say they should have.”

As Zelenskky was pushing for US security commitments to keep his country safe from further Russian aggression, to which Trump told Zelenskyy that doing so was disrespectful.

To Zelenskyy, Trump said, “You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people,”  

He also accused Zelenskyy of being “disrespectful” to the U.S.

Talking about his role in the negotiations, Trump said, “I am in the middle, I am for both Ukraine and Russia.”, “I want to get it solved,” Trump added.

President Donald Trump cut short talks with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy over a deal for U.S. access to the country’s rare earth minerals following a heated exchange in the Oval Office. Trump became upset during the discussion and shouted at Zelenskyy, accusing him of being “disrespectful.”

The two leaders had originally planned to sign an agreement and hold a joint press conference. However, after the confrontation, the atmosphere shifted, and Zelenskyy was instead preparing to leave the White House.
