(ii) Which vehicle experiences the greater change in momentum and why?
(iii) Which vehicle experiences the greater acceleration and why ?
Ans. (i) Both vehicles will experience the same force. It is due to Newton’s third law of motion which states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
(ii) The truck will experience greater change in momentum due to its larger mass.
(iii) The car will experience greater acceleration due to its smaller mass.
