Answers with Explanation

1. (d) The final and ultimate goal of a human being, Moksha, has been mentioned in Upanishads. Four goals of a human being in his life are Dharma, Artha, Kaam and Moksha. Almost all ancient Indian philosophical texts mention moksha. Since Upanishads are the last part of Vedic literature therefore they are also known as Vedant.
2. (b) Pravarsen, the ruler of Vakatak dynasty is credited with successful completion of four Ashvamedha yajna. Pushyamitra, founder of Shunga dynasty concluded two ashvamedha yajna. Napoleon of India, Samudragupta, performed ashvamedha yajna to declare his victories.

9. (b) Dara Sikoh, eledest of the fours sons of Shahjahan was the most learned fellow and author.
