Q. State any three points of difference between your limb and heart muscles.
Ans.
(i) Muscles present in our limbs are voluntary as they move or pause when we want to them to do so. Whereas the muscles of the heart are involuntary as they show rhythmic contraction and relaxation throughout the life.
(ii) Muscles present in our limbs are mostly attached to bones and help in the body movement, while the muscles of the heart are not attached to bones and help in the pumping of blood.
(iii) The cells of limb tissue are long, cylindrical, unbranched and multinucleate, while heart muscles are cylindrical, branched and uninucleate.
