Ans: –  The energy is presented in our environment in different form like the sunlight, electricity, tidal, wind energy etc.

 

Distinguish between conventional and non-conventional sources of energy.

Ans: – The conventional sources of energy are the energy which present in limited number and the non conventional energy is that is present in unlimited amount. The pollution also in low in non conventional source of energy.

 

What are conventional sources of energy? Give two examples.

Ans: – The example of conventional sources of energy is fossil fuel like coal, petrol, diesel.

 

Why non-conventional sources of energy are preferred over the conventional sources?

Ans: – There is sign of pollution and limited number when we use the conventional energy source. But if we use the non-conventional energy source the source is not limited and no environmental pollution also happen.

 

“Sun is the ultimate source of energy”. Justify this statement.

Ans: – The sun energy is the main source of energy of the universe. All activity of us happens because of the energy. The plant gets this energy and when it eaten by the animal then this transfer from one state to the other.
