Why do we hear the sound produced by the humming bees while the sound of vibrations of pendulum is not heard?

Ans. Human being can hear sounds lying in the frequency range 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The sound produced by a vibrating pendulum does not lie in this range while that produced by a humming bee lies in this range.
