On Earth, how much force is needed to lift an object of mass 100 g.

Q. On Earth, how much force is needed to lift an object of mass 100 g.
Ans. The weight of the body of mass 100 g will be
F =100 × gravitational acceleration
F = m × g
    = 100 × 10-3 × 10 = 1 N
Hence, a force equal to 1 N or greater than 1 N is required to lift up an object
