WHAT IS A NOTICE?

Notice is a short account of important information for people to know.

HOW TO WRITE A NOTICE

  1. At first give a heading of the notice which reflects its subject matter. Then mention the reference number free and date of writing the notice.
  2. Now write the subject matter of the notice clearly and briefly.
  3. After finishing the subject matter, write the name and designation of the person issuing the notice in the right-hand side bottom corner of the notice.
  4. Finally, when issued by a person on behalf of an authority the notice should be countersigned.

1. Write a notice as the secretary of the tour committee of your school inviting students of classes IX and X to participate in a day-long trip to Science City, Kolkata.
