WHAT IS PROCESS WRITING?

A process is a number of activities performed in an order for a particular result.
For process writing students are given a flow chart or bare hints, depending on which they have to write a full paragraph.

HOW TO WRITE A PROCESS

  1. For any kind of paragraph there must be a heading. It comes at the top of the paragraph. So for the process, you have to give a heading.
  2. You have to introduce the topic of the process with some general idea about the topic.
  3. Then follow the hints one by one and write full sentences on every hint. Step jump may create trouble in the construction. So avoid it.
  4. In process writing most of the sentences are in passive voice.
  5. Appropriate linkers are to be used in between two sentences to keep link.
  6. At the end, conclude your writing with some own remark on the topic, if possible. It hightens the literary effect.

THE PROCESS OF WRITING

To write something on a particular topic, we are to follow a specific process. It cannot be done whimsically. What is to be written is to be planned properly at the very beginning. Then ideas are to be organised in a logical order. Thereafter, words are chosen selectively. Sentences are constructed carefully. One should remember that robust vocabulary is the raw building blocks that we use to express our thoughts and ideas and share information. Then a draft article is prepared. Next, it is revised and edited wherever is needed. Thereafter the duly edited draft is proofed carefully to avoid spelling mistakes, etc. Finally, the article is printed and brought out.

PREPARING TOMATO JELLY

Tomato jelly is a delicious item to be taken with breads or biscuits. In right season, ripe tomatoes are either bought or collected by some other means. Droplets become waterdrops and then fall down on earth as rain. Thus the cycle becomes complete.

Mustard oil is a must in our everyday cooking. Without it, cooking is near about impossible. For preparing mustard oil, first of all, fresh mustard seeds are collected. Cultural programmes in school, college, library and other such institutions form a vital part of our society. It helps to build up proper mentality and taste of art and culture. To conduct a cultural programme properly in school, some steps are followed. First, notice is to be served to everyone concerned with details of the programme and how to join it. Following that notice, students meet the concerned teachers. Then the names of the willing students are enlisted. Lengthy rehearsals are arranged, under the supervision of the teachers. There, if needed, the student’s performance is rectified by the respective teacher. Then the order of the programme is declared. On the eve of the performance, stage rehearsal is conducted.
